Wiang Haeng District, led by Khun Chai Neungjamnong, the District Chief, along with local government officials, community leaders, village headmen, and local leaders, have actively promoted the royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to ensure food security. The focus has been on planting vegetables and fruits for household consumption, continuing the principle of "Leaders must act first" as part of the Change For 5G initiative.

The program aims to improve food security through sustainable practices, enhancing the health and well-being of local communities. As part of this initiative, local leaders have encouraged households to grow a variety of vegetables, and to explore the cultivation of native plants suited to the local environment. These plants are then used in preparing healthy meals, showcasing the importance of self-sufficiency in food production for healthier lifestyles.
